Like sweet, gooey, apple pie filling, spiked with Fireball cinnamon whiskey! Thrown together easily in a crock-pot or slow-cooker, these Fireball Crock-Pot Cinnamon Apples are an incredible sauce or topping. You will want these Fireball Crock-Pot Cinnamon Apples on EVERYTHING!
Combine all ingredients in a slow-cooker, and stir to coat.
Set to 'low', and cook for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until apples are soft and tender, but not mushy.
If desired, stir in 3-4 additional tablespoons of Fireball whiskey at the end of cooking to ramp up the flavor.
Notes
Slow-cookers and crock-pots can vary quite a lot in cooking time. My slow-cooker tends to cook pretty fast, and even on 'low', these were ready in about 2 hours. Please check occasionally to see how your apples are progressing!Each medium apple yields about 1 cup chopped.
